Tumi spent the first few hours of her time here glued to Tara. Wherever Tara went, Tumi went. After dinner, when Tara was straightening up the living room, Tumi was helping her straighten the living room. And when Tara sat down on the couch to read her book, Tumi sat down to help her with that too. It wasn't until Tara walked the dogs for the last walk that Tumi looked around on her own and decided to like it here. She slept soundly and comfortably.
We'll upload pictures tomorrow, but Tumi had a great day today, in spite of the heat. She met all of her new friends at At Witt's End and got to play with her ball. She went on a short hike in the early morning and got to check out the ducks and chickens and the swimming hole. She likes the chickens but thinks the ducks are weird.
She was a little camera shy, but came around when Kiela picked her up.
